Be a Part of The Ellen Theatre Renovation
The second phase of The Ellen Theatre Renovation is underway and we need your help. For those of you who have visited The Ellen since we opened in December of 2008, you were able to witness our refurbished ballroom, the all new restroom facilities and the reconfiguration of the lobby - as well as many items you weren't able to see, including a new heating and air conditioning system, an all new electrical system, upgraded plumbing, much needed building insulation, new roofing and renovated dressing rooms under the stage.It may look like we're finished, but there's still much to do.
People ask us, "If I donate today, where does my money go?" Currently we are raising money for a new sound system and upgrades for our box office.
In these tough economic times, we know everyone is tightening the belt. However, this is something the theatre must have to allow us to continue to present live shows, concerts and films at The Ellen.
You can help in a couple of different ways:
1. Continue to come see our shows... and tell others about all the terrific performances going on at The Ellen. The more seats that are filled, the better we're able to pay our bills. And who doesn't want to be here with a packed house enjoying a wonderful concert or laugh-filled comedy?
2. Make a monetary gift.
